If you are looking for a Kentucky vacation that is right in the middle of the best fishing on the mighty Cumberland
River and in the least developed shore line from Lake Cumberland to Nashville, then the brand new TrouTracs cabin
is for you.
A WIDE PRIVATE POURED BOAT RAMP is provided for your easy access to the river just below your porch. The cabin has
two ample bedrooms, a large open living-dining-kitchen area with beautiful views across the river. The interior is
finished with beautiful knotty white pine and the expansive porch, equipped with swing, table and chairs and
directly overlooks the river where bald eagles, various ducks and other water fowl are almost daily visitors. It is
a non-smoking cabin, wheelchair friendly and has public utilities and land line phone. It is centrally located
between Tompkinsville Kentucky and Celina Tennessee, Dale Hollow Lake and Burkesville Kentucky.
From Tompkinsville you cross the river on Kentucky's last state-owned free ferry. Dale Hollow Resort boasts one of
the top fifty golf courses in America. In addition to the unbelievable fishing for Rainbow and Brown trout, Striped
Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye and Sauger, the area is nationally known for its deer and turkey hunting. Canoeing,
kayaking and tubing are also popular activities on the river. Nearby is a large National Trout Hatchery which
stocks hundreds of thousands of trout to the native Rainbow and Brown trout population.
